Communication trainings for project promoters

NGO Programme Lithuania Operator Human Rights Monitoring Institute together with external experts have organized the communication trainings for project promoters. 

The main topic of the event was the effective communication. Focus was set on how to create a consistent and comprehensive message, how to determine target audience and how to decide what is important to achieve with the communication. Experts shared their experiences on how to write a press release, how to calculate the communication budget, properly set and achieve the goals. Many unexpected and sometimes provocative questions were raised by the journalists Artūras Račas and Jovita Valeikaitė as well as lecturer Jurgita Chromanskytė. Interactive and very informative trainings were highly appreciated by project promoters.
The event was moderated by Rytis Juozapavičius  (TV journalist, the former director (2004 – 2008) of Transparency International Lithuanian Chapter).
As a general measure to prevent irregularities Fund Operator organizes interactive trainings for project promoters of each call that include project implementation monitoring and reporting, ensuring quality of project activities, options and procedure for project activities and/or budget amendments, project visibility, publicity and communication requirements, planning financial flows. 
Projects promoters are provided with forms, instructions and guidelines on the following issues: Implementation of project activities, achievement of indicators, Project reporting (including forms); Project risk assessment and management; Finance management; Project visibility and communication requirements; Communication and cooperation with the NGO Programme Lithuania, including procedure of communication with the Project supervisors.
