2nd Call for proposals

On 20 January, 2014 Human Rights Monitoring Institute together with partner OSFL Projects has announced the 2nd Open call for proposals to NGOs under the NGO Programme Lithuania of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA Grants) 2009-2014.
 
Overall objective of the NGO Programme Lithuania is strengthened civil society development and enhanced contribution to social justice, democracy and sustainable development; and strengthened bilateral relationship between Lithuania and the Donor States – Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
 
During the 2nd call for proposals NGO Programme Lithuania received 97 large project concepts applications and 148 small projects applications.
 
The most popular area of support among large scale project concepts was Vulnerable groups. More than 20% of project concepts embrace more than 1 area of support.
 
Total value of project concept applications received is 41,227,916 LTL (approx. 11,940,429 EUR). Total sum asked for granting from NGO Programme Lithuania is 37,110,173 LTL (approx. 10,747,848 EUR). 
 
The most popular areas of support among small scale project applications were Democracy and good governance and Vulnerable groups.
 
Total value of small project applications received is 18,752.865 LTL (approx. 5,431,205 EUR). Total sum asked for granting from NGO Programme Lithuania is 16,823,981 LTL (approx. 4,872,561 EUR).
