1st Call for proposals

On 18th of March, 2013 Human Rights Monitoring Institute together with partner OSFL Projects has announced the 1st Open call for proposals to NGOs under the NGO Programme Lithuania of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA Grants) 2009-2014.
 
Overall objective of the NGO Programme Lithuania is strengthened civil society development and enhanced contribution to social justice, democracy and sustainable development; and strengthened bilateral relationship between Lithuania and the Donor States – Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
 
During the 1st call for proposals NGO Programme Lithuania received 144 large project concepts and 209 small projects.
 
The most popular area of support among large scale project concepts was Democracy and good governance. More than 35% of project concepts embrace more than 1 area of support.
 
Total value of project concept applications received is 64.426.101 LTL (approx. 18.659.088 EUR). Total sum asked for granting from NGO Programme Lithuania is 57.641.249 LTL (approx. 16.694.059 EUR). 
 
The most popular areas of support among small scale project applications were Democracy and good governance and Vulnerable groups.
 
Total value of small project applications received is 26,625,705 LTL (approx. 7.711.337 EUR). Total sum asked for granting from NGO Programme Lithuania is 23,776,055 LTL (approx. 6.886.021 EUR).
